Mobília Puro, a shared vision of founders Felipe Rezende and Thales Polis, launched onto the Brazilian design scene at São Paulo’s prestigious SPArte event in 2025, with a collection that exemplified purity in shape and form with robust luxurious materiality and texture. Each piece is handcrafted by local Brazilian artisans.
Mobília Puro presents a new international perspective on Brazilian modernism and embodies the founders’ love of contemporary art and design. Each piece is handmade to order with particular care being taken with the upholstery portfolio of fabrics and hides. A signature of the collection is the exquisite use of ‘pony’ hide upholstery, the result of leather from a cow hide shaved to resemble the texture of horse hair. The process allows for the upholstery to be customised for a tailored solution, with each piece approved by the client prior to being completed.
“The path of Mobília Puro embodies our desire to transform art into objects. Objects that can be part of people’s stories and experienced as a physical manifestation of memory and affection.”
