The São Francisco sofa is available in three distinct sizes for 2, 3, and 4 people. Designed for comfort and inspired by traditional club chairs it features a distinctive semi-hexagonal shape, with a fabric interior and an outer covering of ‘pony’ leather; the ’pony’ leather results from a cow hide shaved to resemble the texture of horse hair. The final result can be a refined or more textured finish. The process allows for the upholstery to be customised for a tailored solution, with each piece approved by the client prior to being completed.
The ‘pony’ outer covering can be substituted for a traditional leather finish. The sofa can also be fully upholstered in fabric with contrasting textures.
The choice of materials creates endless possibilities that are nearly impossible to replicate, making each piece unique in its existence. Stainless steel base adds shine and lightness, contrasting with the sofa’s robustness.

Felipe Rezende is the creative mind behind Mobília Puro, a graduate from the School of Architecture and Urbanism of Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo. He spent 10 years honing his craft with leading design firms in Brazil before deciding to pursue his dream and start his own brand.
Thales Polis has a background in medicine, is an amateur photographer and an art collection enthusiast. Polis collects references and trends to enrich the Mobília Puro design perspective and enhance the cultural depth of the collection.
