Candelera 03 is one of a collection focused on creating large-format sculptural lighting pieces with a functional approach. To achieve balance in the composition, multiple parameters - such as volume, mass, density, and the distances between elements—are calculated and projected simultaneously during the shaping of each piece in the system.
Candelera 03 has distinct ‘river stone’ shapes of the lighting shades. With the overall arrangement customisable in complexity and dimensions.The minimalist composition is complemented by skilled craftsmanship, results in a raw, organic shapes and structures. Candelera 03 has a matching wall lamp.
FEDERICO STEFANOVICH
Mexican designer based in Mexico City, whose practice focuses on collectible design and the creation of sculptural lighting and objects that explore the interplay between form, light, and materiality.
His work is distinguished by meticulous attention to detail, a continuous pursuit of balance, and a deep interest in fostering an emotional dialogue between object and user. Each piece reflects layers of process, cultural history, and collaborations with traditional crafts, moving beyond folkloric stereotypes to propose a contemporary vision of Mexican design.
In 2025, he was named one of Wallpaper Magazine’s “10 Stars Ascending” and received the People’s Choice Award from the AZ Awards.
