A collection of small table-top sculptures that display balance and harmony through their organic shapes and playful compositions.
The components are designed and precisely cut, ensuring a seamless fit through a flat-pack style assembly, requiring no tools or adhesives. These pieces aim to minimise material waste, not only ensuring the efficient use of resources but also adding a unique aesthetic dimension to the sculptures. The result of this process is each piece being simple enough to showcase its materiality and process, whilst maintaining a strong identity that captivates the eye.
FEDERICO STEFANOVICH
Mexican designer, born and raised in Mexico City where his studio is based. His collectible design approach comes after developing himself for half a decade in Esrawe Studio as a furniture and product designer.
Through a sophisticated formal expression and a strong conceptual approach in his projects, he seeks to explore the emotional relationship between the object and the user.
Concepts such as balance and counterpoise are crucial in the design of Federico’s pieces as he looks to communicate a poetic and clever playfulness in his work. Attention to detail, versatility and resourcefulness complemented with marvelous execution of local craftsmen are essential aspects in the development of the pieces in his portfolio.
