With a solid wood frame, the unaligned front and rear legs give the São Conrado Armchair an unexpected visual lightness. When viewed from the side, it appears to float.

The intricate joinery detail elevates the structural form. The upholstered cushions on the seat and backrest provide a high degree of comfort.

Every tiny detail in each of the designer’s pieces is the result of lots of research during their conception. Her love of wood started early, during her first internship at the Museum of Modern Art, where she created furniture for a school library. 

For several years she designed for Nanni Moveleira, one of the first furniture companies that promoted independent designers in the 1980s. 

The Duetto bench was her first commission and the first of the designer’s creations to be manufactured by ETEL. This partnership, consistent, authentic and infused with great rapport, has lasted for more than 25 years.
