A modular armchair, consisting of two separate volumes; one, a seat, and the other a backrest, interconnected by two wooden L-shaped structures fixed to their sides through clamps with wooden buttons. The combination of folded and pleated upholstery contribute to the exceptional appearance of this design. The armchair can be used individually or can be combined with multiples as a sectional sofa combination, for example a two-seat or a three-seat or more.
In partnership with and his daughters, Percival Lafer recreated with ETEL this iconic piece with exquisite finishes and construction updated for our time.

PERCIVAL LAFER
Born in 1936, Percival Lafer graduated in Architecture from Mackenzie University in São Paulo. At a young age, after finishing college, he had to take over his father's furniture company, Lafer, together with his brothers. As a result, his passion for architecture could not be fully exercised. Some examples of his work as an architect include houses designed for personal friends, urban furniture designs, and architectural components.
Percival Lafer's work as a designer has left an indelible mark on the furniture industry in Brazil. From the beginning his work has always been marked by boldness and originality. For him, each project had to reflect state of the art technology and deign, applied to innovative ideas. Through his way of interpreting contemporary design, original ideas emerged, many of which were protected by patents.
