The oEbanista collection is named after the title earned by artisans who work with wood; Ricardo Ferreira earned this honorific after years spent studying with master carpenters in France and Italy. It attests to the quality of his craftmanship.

Ricardo Ferreira’s work reflects a deep reverence for wood, sourced from certified forests or curated and obtained from old construction sites. His is a delicate and attentive eye, one that values traditional woodworking techniques while embracing the light curves of the modernist ideal. The collection is also notable because of Ricardo’s use of striking exotic timbers such as the exotic purple heart and tigerwood, each with their own distinct perfume and grain. All pieces are individually numbered and signed.
