Handmade to order and part of the Fernando Mendes Atelier collection

Versatile, comfortable, minimalist but more complex on closer inspection. The paradox between minimalism and complexity was what inspired Mendes to create the sunlounger, whose contours are reminiscent of airplanes from the 1940s. A combination of playful shapes, with a touch of charm provided by the front wheels for ease of moving. The lounger has three angles on the backrest, canvas upholstery and a cushion.

Its craftmanship, detailing and comfort are all hallmarks of the Fernando Mendes collection.

Brazilian design royalty; his cousin was Sergio Rodrigues, the ‘father’ of Brazilian design, and Fernando worked closely with Rodrigues for 7 years before starting his own collection.
