The L.S sofa was inspired by the cable cars of Santa Teresa in Rio, home to Fasanello’s studio; when reaching the end of the line the drivers turn the backs of the seats to to face the direction of the return journey along the same track.

Available as a two or three seater sofa, the backrest, secured by a belt, can be moved from one side to the other.

The LS sofa’s wide seat and low profile offer a range of comfortable lounging postures. The sturdy foam structure is upholstered in leather.

The Atelier Ricardo Fasanello collection is handmade to order and has been in continuous production since the 1960s.

RICARDO FASANELLO

1930-1993

Born in São Paulo in 1930 demonstrate talent from an early age, designing and building sailboats, lofts and his life passion, building race cars.

His career was catapulted onto the international scene in 1968, with the debut of the Fardos chair, a daring ergonomics meets avant-gardist vision. Fasanello’s free-spirited imagination was boosted by his genuinely artisanal creative process, constantly experimentingwith materials and forms and testing new ways of doing things.
