A large-format folding table from designer Wolfgang Hartauer. Lot is changeable: it can be both a dining table and a work table. “im Lot” means “perpendicular”in German, which translates into the distinctive semi circle connecting the frame and top. It can be easily made bigger or smaller and easily moved around a room

Available in solid oak or ash timber or a range of timber veneers. Handmade to order in Germany.

Wolfgang Hartauer’s work is as complex as it is elegant. A carpenter and architect, the central theme of his work is creating clear designs and order through passion and precision.

At the beginning of every design process, Harthauer analyses an everyday problem for which he is looking for a simple solution. The visual arts are an important inspiration; Wolfgang Hartauer conceives a design not only as a functional object, but also in its symbolism.
