LinBrasil is dedicated exclusively to bringing to the public the work of Sergio Rodrigues; currently 56 examples of his work are showcased in the portfolio, including his most iconic pieces, created by the master during his 60 year career in furniture design.

Gisèle Pereira Schwartsburd is the founder of LinBrasil. A family background in furniture making led Giselle to study Industrial Design at the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil, before deciding to pursue a career in dance and theatre.

In 1999, fate stepped in and led Giselle to rediscover the work of Sergio Rodrigues in an exhibition of his work during a visit to a shopping mall in Rio de Janeiro. In 2001, Giselle decided to go into business reissuing Sergio Rodrigues furniture and LinBrasil was established, working in partnership with selected suppliers to ensure manufacturing quality. The original moulds and models of Rodrigues’ designs are closely followed, aided by state of the art CNC (computer numerical control) machines for greater consistency and accuracy, combined with manual finishing.
