Wood and marble combine to create a contrast in Claudia Moreira Salles` design. The Janeiro dining table is crafted from solid wood and marble, with simple lines deliver design elegance. The marble legs embrace the solid wood top and advance and protrude as prominent points .

Every tiny detail in each of the designer’s pieces is the result of lots of research during their conception. Her love of wood started early, during her first internship at the Museum of Modern Art, where she created furniture for a school library. 

For several years she designed for Nanni Moveleira, one of the first furniture companies that promoted independent designers in the 1980s. 

The Duetto bench was her first commission and the first of the designer’s creations to be manufactured by ETEL. This partnership, consistent, authentic and infused with great rapport, has lasted for more than 25 years.
