GUSTAVO BITTENCOURT

Gustavo Bittencourt. Born in Rio. Studied in Italy. Worked in LA and with iconic Brazilian designers Zanini de Zanine, Marcelo Rosenbaum and Rodrigo Calixto. In 2013 he created Atelier Gustavo Bittencourt. His vision can be summed up in 3 key convictions; appreciation for the quality of the material, the inherent value of objects that are handmade and the timelessness of each design. Our focus is on the diversity of materials, fittings, textures and processes.

"I believe that we all have a look, a point of view about what we see, we are all unique. My furniture is my interpretation of shapes, materials and their interactions. An expression of how I transform my references and passions into what I believe.”
