Created in 1976, the Hipopotamo sofa and armchair is Fasanello’s homage to the architect Le Corbusier.
The thick, overlapping cushions create a unique seating experience, offering a sense of security and openness. Available as a armchair and a 2 seater sofa.

RICARDO FASANELLO
1930-1993
Born in São Paulo in 1930 demonstrate talent from an early age, designing and building sailboats, lofts and his life passion, building race cars.
His career was catapulted onto the international scene in 1968, with the debut of the Fardos chair, a daring ergonomics meets avant-gardist vision. Fasanello’s free-spirited imagination was boosted by his genuinely artisanal creative process, constantly experimentingwith materials and forms and testing new ways of doing things.
