A combination of timeless functionality and aesthetic beauty. Espaço’s geometric form, consisting of a straight column and multiple circles, is unique and sophisticated. The seat and backrests are crafted from slim foam layers covered in leather creating a refined, elegant appearance.
The range consists of two chairs and a stool. The Espaço 60 dining chair has a fibreglass circular base, and the Espaço 80 dining chair has a metal base, slightly updated seat and swivel mechanism. There is also a Espaço 80 stool available with a cross bar to rest your feet.
The Atelier Ricardo Fasanello collection is handmade to order and has been in continuous production since the 1960s.
RICARDO FASANELLO
1930-1993
Born in Sao Paulo in 1930, he demonstrated talent from an early age, designing and building sailboats, lofts and his life passion, building racing cars.
His career was catapulted onto the international scene in 1968, with the debut of the Fardos chair, a daring ergonomics meets avant-gardist vision. Fasanello’s free-spirited imagination was boosted by his genuinely artisanal creative process, constantly experimenting with materials and forms and testing new ways of doing things.
