The D7 chair is a modern masterpiece of woodworking design.

Available either as a a rigid chair or with a brass folding mechanism cleverly and discreetly concealed within the back legs as an attractive detail.Simply push the release buttons on each side to release.

Like folding chair D4 by Marcel Breuer (of 1927), once folded and stacked against the wall, the D7 has an almost sculptural quality.

Available in a variety of colours and finishes. Handmade to order in Germany.

KLEMENS GRUND

A Master Carpenter, Klemens studied at the Academy of Crafts, Gut Rosenberg in Aachen from 2004 to 2007. His first position after graduating was as Master Designer at the Brammertz joinery in Aachen. In 2010 he joined the architecture studio of Peter Zumthor in Haldenstein and in 2014 he founded his own design studio in Cologne. Today he lives and teaches in Switzerland.
