The D70 is the first piece of furniture that designer Marco Dessí has designed for Tecta, premiered with much interested at the 2022 Salon del Mobile Milano, Italy.

It’s difficult to know which aspect of the design has more impact; the unusual oval seat, the trapezoid shape of the backrest or the triangle created by the front legs. The D70 is a chair that envelopes the sitter, inviting you to try it out; put your legs up on the matching ottoman and snuggle up with a book or laptop as you’re shielded from the world.

The frame and upholstery are both available in a variety of fabrics, leathers and finishes.

MARCO DESSI

Studied Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He founded his own design studio in 2007 and has been commissioned by a number  well-known Austrian manufacturers.
His approach is practical and collaborative; design is understood as an interactive process. He believes that the combination of function, construction and aesthetics will deliver the perfectly designed object.
