The Cubo Libre Dining Table was inspired by the hollowed walls used by famous Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, where the exterior is painted in one colour and the interior in another. The volume has its five sides in trellises and the inside is stained in a darker tone to increase the feeling of depth.

Every tiny detail in each of the designer’s pieces is the result of lots of research during their conception. Her love of wood started early, during her first internship at the Museum of Modern Art, where she created furniture for a school library. 

For several years she designed for Nanni Moveleira, one of the first furniture companies that promoted independent designers in the 1980s. 

The Duetto bench was her first commission and the first of the designer’s creations to be manufactured by ETEL. This partnership, consistent, authentic and infused with great rapport, has lasted for more than 25 years.
