Katsuhei Toyoguchi created many classic pieces of furniture by working collaboratively to give form to his designs. In an era without measuring equipment, he worked to develop chairs that were comfortable to sit in, even taking measurements by sitting on snow.
Katsuhei Toyoguchi served as an honorary director of the Japan Interior Designers Association and the Japan Industrial Designers Association.
