Ricardo Fasanello’s very elegant and iconic Anel chair. A swivel chair crafted from fiberglass and polyester resin, the ring shaped back support with an upholstered seat captured the mood of the 1960’s space-age, popular during the mid century space development race.
The Anel 80 version is an evolution of the 1960’s design and fully upholstered, without the polyester resin outer finish. The proportions are also slightly different; the base material of the legs and the shape of the seat have been slightly changed, reflecting the energy of the 1980s.
The Atelier Ricardo Fasanello collection is handmade to order and has been in continuous production since the 1960s.
RICARDO FASANELLO
1930-1993
Born in São Paulo in 1930 demonstrate talent from an early age, designing and building sailboats, lofts and his life passion, building race cars.
His career was catapulted onto the international scene in 1968, with the debut of the Fardos chair, a daring ergonomics meets avant-gardist vision. Fasanello’s free-spirited imagination was boosted by his genuinely artisanal creative process, constantly experimentingwith materials and forms and testing new ways of doing things.
